Youth and Community Programs

at The Crest

YEAR-ROUND

Learning, Fun & Adventure

The diverse landscape and daily work at The Crest offer countless opportunities to explore organic regenerative farming, holistic land management, animal husbandry, restorative forestry, wetland restoration, and archaeological discovery. Whether your visit is for an hour or for a week, our programs encourage schools, community groups, and families to take full advantage of this rich and dynamic outdoor classroom.

By inviting youth to engage in hands-on, intimate experiences with nature, we sow seeds that grow into appreciation, respect, wonder, and stewardship for the natural world. We offer children and adults alike the opportunity to personally experience the deep and complex connections between people, forest, farm, and water, and we use those experiences to support both academic and personal learning goals.

Check out our school year programs, our service learning offerings, and our summer camps. If none of these programs seems like the perfect fit and you would like to work with us to develop a custom offering, please send us an email — we will be delighted to work with you.

Crest Community Workshops

The Crest is excited to announce the development of our new Community Workshops Program! We are cultivating a space where community members have the opportunity to guide fun and interesting learning experiences up at Willow-Witt Ranch.

The property comprises 445-acres of land within the Cascade-Siskiyou Monument, a complex farm/forest/wetland ecosystem 25 miles outside of Ashland which holds the capacity for unlimited magical moments of learning, connection and creativity.

If you’re interested in learning more about the possibilities of hosting a workshop please fill out our class proposal form so that we can co-create together!
