CONSERVATION

From Ranch to Crest

We are The Crest on the 445 acre Willow-Witt Ranch, a complex ecosystem at the crest of three watersheds at 5000’ in the Cascade-Siskiyou Monument in the western Cascades of Oregon.

Since 1985, Suzanne Willow and Lanita Witt have been stewards of the unique world that is Willow-Witt Ranch. To ensure that their legacy of conservation and restoration will continue, they founded the non-profit organization The Crest.

Mission & Vision

The mission of The Crest is to cultivate the integral connection between people and nature.  We learn from nature the interdependence of humans and the air, soil, food, forest, and water upon which we all depend and the earth to which we all return.

Board & Team

We are a small but dedicated team at The Crest. Suzanne heads up the organization and the farm workers at Willow-Witt Ranch assist with all the preparation, the tours, and behind-the- scenes work. Without them, we would not be able to do all that we are doing.

The Crest is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization

The Crest nonprofit organization relies on donations to support youth programs and give community groups the chance to experience the wonders of nature to learn about and feel a connection to the natural world. Our volunteer opportunities are a great chance to get outside, connect with others and learn more about your local ecosystem. Please consider contributing to this natural legacy by making a tax-deductible donation.
