Sarah Kreisman, Executive Director

Sarah Kreisman

Executive Director
Sarah comes to The Crest with many years of work in the nonprofit sector and is thrilled to be working on her heart’s mission of connecting people with the natural world. Sarah is a lifelong traveler with a bachelor’s degree in International Studies and did a Peace Corps stint in Panama.

Sarah has dedicated herself to the mission-based field of nonprofit work since 2008. Working closely with volunteers, co-workers, board members and community partners to achieve empowerment for girls, mentoring for youth, environmental education & restoration efforts in wild places and more. She is passionate about organizational management and strategy and completed an MA in Leadership & Organizational Studies. Sarah understands that being in a leadership position is a complex responsibility. One that requires holistic skill sets in order to tend to the financial, operational and emotional body of an organization.

She works part-time as an Inherited Family Trauma therapist and feels great passion for this work as well as her work as an organizational leader. She is honored to be at the helm of such a fantastic team and is excited to facilitate this time of growth and expansion for The Crest and for the communities that we serve.

The Crest is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization

The Crest nonprofit organization relies on donations to support youth programs and give community groups the chance to experience the wonders of nature to learn about and feel a connection to the natural world. Our volunteer opportunities are a great chance to get outside, connect with others and learn more about your local ecosystem. Please consider contributing to this natural legacy by making a tax-deductible donation.
