Self-Guided Wetland Interpretive Trail
Developed thanks to a generous grant from Jackson Soil and Water Conservation District.
Looking for a safe, fun, and educational adventure near Ashland? Check out our new self-guided wetland interpretive trail! Thanks to a generous grant, we worked with designer Karin Onkka to develop a beautiful printed brochure that guides visitors through ten educational stops along a 2-mile trail that goes out to our restored wetlands. Learn how Willow-Witt’s wetlands formed, how they have been used, damaged, and restored by humans, and why we continue to steward this landscape feature with such care — all on a self-guided hike.
