MLK Jr. Day Volunteer Event

Spend Martin Luther King Jr. Day serving our community and stewarding the land at Oredson-Todd Woods! We will be removing invasive blackberry and mulching trails. This volunteer work party is a collaborative effort by the Ashland Parks Division, Southern Oregon Land Conservancy, The Crest, and United Communities AmeriCorps.

Date: January 17, 2022

Time: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Location: Oredson-Todd Woods, 2260 Lupine Drive Ashland, OR, 97520

Preparation: Please dress for January weather and for outdoor work. Feel free to bring your own work gloves, but gloves will be available for folks to borrow. Tools will be provided. Please bring your own water (and snack, if you’d like)!

Please note that there is no restroom or running water onsite.

 

 

COVID-19 Information

  1. Please stay at home if you are not feeling well and/or have a cough, fever, shortness of breath, or other COVID-19 symptoms.
  2. Face masks are required where and when physical distancing cannot be consistently maintained outdoors. During this outdoor program, we encourage participants to maintain 6’ of distance, and we ask that everyone wear a mask during periods of close group gathering/discussion. Please bring your own mask.
  3. COVID-19 restrictions are subject to change with local ordinances.
