Join The CREST at Willow-Witt Ranch on Sunday, October 26, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at Willow-Witt Ranch for a peaceful afternoon of nature journaling in collaboration with Elisa Friedlander, LMFT, founder of Ink To Insight, LLC. www.inktoinsight.com
In this experiential workshop, we write in response to poetry and guided prompts, creatively designed to explore, honor, and deepen our relationships between nature and our inner worlds.
Opportunity for sharing and witnessing is part of this workshop. Your writing is sacred, so sharing is always optional.
Expressive writing and spending time in nature are two evidence-based practices used by people worldwide to promote mental and physical health and enhance overall well-being. Some of the many benefits include improved mood, reduced stress response, increased capacity for problem-solving, lower pain responses, and even enhanced immune system functioning.
No experience in expressive writing or poetry is necessary to fully engage in this interactive workshop. Just show up with curiosity and a nature-loving heart!
This event is open to all levels of writers and nature-lovers, no experience needed!
Please bring your personal journal or notebook and writing utensils. We will have some available if needed! We’ll have benches available for seating, but you’re encouraged to bring a camp chair if that’s more comfortable for you.
This is a free event, but donations are greatly welcomed since we rely on them to fund our organization and initiatives. A contribution of $10.00 or more will be gratefully accepted.
Please note that Willow-Witt Ranch is a working farm that uses Maremma livestock guardian dogs. No dogs or pets are allowed, thank you.
