Immersive Outdoor Learning Rooted in Place

Come join a field trip at the Crest at Willow Witt Ranch. We provide hands-on learning with the goal of cultivating nature connection and expanding environmental literacy and meaningful connections to a sense of place and a sense of belonging. Choose a short or longer day visit and experience a high impact day of learning.

Farm Tour

$150 | Up to 30 students | 1.5 – 2 hours

This immersive introductory farm tour offers an engaging overview of the ranch and its regenerative systems. Students explore the farm while discovering the stories and ecosystems that shape the land.

  • Guided tour of the farm, including goats, ducks, chickens, and gardens

  • Introduction to Indigenous and pioneer history of the property

  • One seasonal, hands-on activity such as harvesting, tasting, seed saving, seed balls, or compost safari

Farm Tour

$150 | Up to 30 students | 1.5 – 2 hours

Half Day Field Trip

$300 | Up to 30 students | 3 hours

The half-day experience allows students to dive deeper into both farm based learning and environmental science. With more time outdoors, students build knowledge, curiosity, and connection to the land.

  • Full farm tour plus an extended seasonal, hands-on farm lesson

  • One NGSS-aligned science lesson (forest, wetlands, birds, pollinators, fire ecology, or nature journaling)

  • Social emotional learning and teamwork activities that foster belonging and connection

Half Day Field Trip

$300 | Up to 30 students | 3 hours

Full Day Field Trip

$500 | Up to 30 students | 4 – 6 hours

Our most immersive option offers a full day of exploration across the ranch’s diverse habitats. Students engage in deeper inquiry, extended projects, and meaningful outdoor experiences.

  • Farm tour and two in depth lessons connected to ecology and agriculture

  • Extended hands on activities such as cooking, planting, or habitat restoration

  • Guided exploration including hikes to the turtle pond, citizen science projects, eco-habitat investigations, bird surveys or environmental scavenger hunts 

Full Day Field Trip

$500 | Up to 30 students | 3 hours
