Fundraisers for The Crest at Willow-Witt

Star Party

Thank you to all who participated in the 2024 event!

If you missed out on our and family-friendly Star Party this year, be sure to check our Events and Activities pages for more events at The Crest. Follow us on Facebook and/or subscribe to receive The Crest email newsletters and announcements for all our future family-friendly events and activities.

Come join us up at Willow-Witt Ranch campground on Saturday, October 26th at 6 PM for an educational and fun evening of exploring the night sky. Local astronomy group Skywatchers will bring their telescopes and show us the wonders of the night sky. Kids astronomy activities will be led by The Crest Education Team. SOU Astronomy Student Eleanor will also join us with her expertise. Feel free to bring your own telescopes and binoculars.

Enjoy youth education and community connections as we observe the moon, planets, find current constellations, meteors and explore the night sky!

We will meet at the campground. Be sure to park with the front of the car facing outward. Nights are chilly up at the ranch, so be sure to dress warmly.

This is a free event, snacks will be provided, so we’d love it if you would RSVP to help us with planning by clicking the link below. We look forward to seeing you there!

The Crest is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization

The Crest nonprofit organization relies on donations to support youth programs and give community groups the chance to experience the wonders of nature to learn about and feel a connection to the natural world. Our volunteer opportunities are a great chance to get outside, connect with others and learn more about your local ecosystem. Please consider contributing to this natural legacy by making a tax-deductible donation.
