Board Member
Aisha is a passionate horticulturalist who earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Ecological and Sustainable Horticultural Production from Oregon State University in 2016. She returned home to foster community with the people and the lands that make up the robust food and agricultural systems of the Rogue Valley.
Her career as a young adult revealed a penchant for detail-oriented and regulatory work, which has led her to her current position with the Oregon Department of Agriculture’s Hemp Program. Here she serves as a regulatory inspector and educator for registered hemp businesses across Southern Oregon. She is passionate about translating complicated regulatory jargon into easy-to-understand language to ensure program participants can thrive.
With lifelong familiarity with the Willow-Witt Ranch, Aisha is joining The Crest board of directors in the fall of 2026. She believes strongly in the Crest’s mission to foster the connection between people and nature, cultivating and nurturing the systems and cycles that keep us all thriving.

The Crest nonprofit organization relies on donations to support youth programs and give community groups the chance to experience the wonders of nature to learn about and feel a connection to the natural world. Our volunteer opportunities are a great chance to get outside, connect with others and learn more about your local ecosystem.
