Madi Ross

Community Engagement Coordinator
Madi grew up in Hillsboro, OR, and holds a degree in Environmental Science and Policy from Southern Oregon University, where she also earned a minor in Education and a certificate in Environmental Communications. With a deep passion for environmental education, community engagement and protection of natural spaces, she is excited to spend her career fostering connections between people and the natural world.

Madi has worked in various roles involving environmental outreach. She served as an intern with Jackson Bottom Wetlands in Hillsboro, contributing to nature programs and developed successful outdoor educational activities. During her time at Southern Oregon University, she worked as the Student Director of the Outdoor Program to create inclusive outdoor experiences, leading adventure trips in Southern Oregon and Northern California. 

When she’s not working, Madi spends most of her time outside, hiking, camping and exploring with friends. She also enjoys traveling to new places, adventuring with family, and crocheting hats for all her close friends.
